Application areas
- Railing systems with T-connections
- Stern and bow baskets (pushpit/pulpit)
- Handrails with cross connections
- Bimini top constructions
- Davits and cranes
- All pipe connections are T-shaped.
How it works
The T-connector allows three pipes to be connected in a T-shape:
-
Main pipe - Continuous pipe through two opposing openings
-
Branch - Vertical pipe through the third opening
-
Pre-drilled - mounting holes already provided for screws or rivets
-
Stable connection - Secure fixing of all three pipes
Advantages of the pre-drilled version
-
Time saving - No time-consuming drilling required
-
Precise positioning - optimally placed drill holes
-
Easy assembly - can be done without problems even by laypersons.
-
Clean result - Professional appearance
-
Flexible - can be fastened with screws or rivets
Material advantages of stainless steel A4 (AISI 316)
Stainless steel A4 (also known as AISI 316 or V4A) offers optimal properties for maritime use:
-
Molybdenum-containing - Highest corrosion resistance
-
Saltwater resistant - Suitable for continuous use in aggressive environments
-
UV-resistant - No embrittlement from sunlight
-
Highly durable - even under heavy mechanical stress
-

Assembly instructions
- Cut the pipes to the correct length
- Insert pipes into the openings of the T-connector.
- Align and check position
- Secure with stainless steel screws or rivets through the pre-drilled holes.
- For screws: Use locknuts for a secure connection.
- For rivets: Use stainless steel blind rivets
Typical applications
-
Bow basket construction - cross connections for increased stability
-
Rear basket reinforcement - T-connections for additional struts
-
Handrail systems - branches for cross handles
-
Bimini frame - connection of supports and crossbars
-
Davit constructions - Stable T-connections for lifting devices
Mounting options
With screws:
- Disassemblable if required
- Ideal for maintenance and repairs
- Use stainless steel screws with locknuts
With rivets:
- Permanent, very stable connection
- Clean appearance without protruding screw heads
- Use stainless steel A4 blind rivets
