Material advantage of stainless steel 1.4401 (AISI 316)
Stainless steel 1.4401 (also known as AISI 316 or V4A) contains molybdenum and therefore offers significantly higher corrosion resistance than standard stainless steel. This makes the railing base particularly suitable for:
- Continuous saltwater contact
- Aggressive marine environments
- Long-term outdoor applications without maintenance
- Professional boat and yacht equipment
- Areas with high mechanical stress
Angle versions
60° Universal: Versatile use, suitable for both left and right sides. Ideal for sprayhood and bimini constructions with an angled design.
90° Standard: Classic right-angle T-connection for standard railing systems and convertible top constructions.
Assembly and use
The railing base is attached to the deck and allows for a T-shaped connection of pipes. The universal design (60°) can be mounted on either the left or right side, simplifying storage and increasing flexibility.
