High-quality sail rigging made of lightweight, robust webbing with practical loops at the end for quick and secure attachment of sails!
The sail tie-down, made of lightweight webbing with loops, is a professional fastening solution for quickly and securely attaching sails to the boom or railing. With its robust webbing construction and practical loops at the ends, it is ideal for marine applications and offers reliable fastening even under varying loads.
The webbing sail lashing is used on board for quickly securing sails to the boom when reefing or stowing the sail. Thanks to the practical loops at both ends, the lashing can be easily placed around the boom and the folded sail and pulled through the loops or connected with a carabiner. The webbing lashing is also ideal for securing tarpaulins, sunshades, or for lashing down equipment. The two available lengths allow for flexible use in various fastening situations.
When reefing the sail, place the webbing around the boom and the folded sail. Thread the end through both loops or use a carabiner for even faster fastening and unfastening. The webbing should be taut but not overtightened. For longer storage, it is recommended to keep the webbing in a dry place, protected from UV radiation, to extend its lifespan. Check the webbing regularly for abrasion and damage.

Regularly inspect the webbing loops for damage, abrasion, or wear, especially at the loops and seams. UV radiation and saltwater can degrade the webbing over time. Replace damaged loops immediately to ensure secure fastening. Avoid sharp edges that could damage the webbing. In high-stress applications, the loops should not be used as the sole securing device.
