Grit selection: P240 (medium) is suitable for intermediate sanding, scratch removal, and preparation for finer grits. P500 (fine) is ideal for fine sanding, polishing preparation, and final surface finishing before coatings or polishes.

Dry sanding application: Use the sponge dry. Sand the surface with circular or straight movements. Vary the pressure depending on the desired material removal. Tap the sponge regularly to remove sanding dust. Turn the sponge over or use a new one when worn.

Wet sanding application: Dampen the sponge and the surface. Use water to bind sanding dust and prevent heat buildup. Particularly effective on gelcoat and paint. Rinse regularly. After use, wash thoroughly and allow to dry for reuse.
