High-quality patented mooring lines made of very good rubber cord with practical plastic hooks for quick and secure attachment of sails!
The patented Zeisinge, made of high-quality elastic cord with knotted plastic hooks, is a professional fastening solution for quickly and securely fixing sails to the boom or railing. With its elastic cord and practical hooks at both ends, it is ideal for marine applications and offers reliable fastening even under varying loads. The hooks are corrosion- and colorfast, even when the sails are wet.
The patented sail lashing is used on board for quickly securing sails to the boom when reefing or stowing the sail. The elastic rubber line with practical plastic hooks at both ends allows the sail to be securely fixed – the hooks are simply threaded through eyelets or around the boom and hooked together. The wide range of lengths allows for flexible applications in various fastening situations. The patented sail lashing is also ideal for securing tarpaulins, sunshades, or for lashing down equipment.
When reefing the sail, place the lashing around the boom and the folded sail. Hook the two plastic hooks into each other or through eyelets in the sail. The elastic cord should be taut but not overstretched. For longer storage, it is recommended to keep the cord in a place protected from UV radiation to extend its lifespan. The corrosion-resistant hooks can also be used on wet sails without leaving any discoloration.

Regularly inspect the patented mooring ties for damage, tears, or wear to the elastic cord and hooks. UV radiation and saltwater can degrade the elastic over time. Replace damaged ties immediately to ensure secure fastening. Avoid excessive stretching, as this will shorten their lifespan. Also, check the hooks for cracks or damage. In heavily stressed applications, the ties should not be used as the sole securing device.
