LED Base Lamp Multivolt - Universal LED replacement lamp for 12V and 24V electrical systems

The Multivolt LED base lamp is the perfect energy-saving replacement lamp for navigation and interior lights on boats and yachts. Thanks to its wide voltage range of 10-30V, it is suitable for both 12V and 24V electrical systems – one lamp for all applications!

Using only about 10% of the power consumption of a conventional incandescent bulb, this LED lamp saves considerable energy and conserves battery power. The warm white light (2700 Kelvin) provides pleasant, glare-free illumination, while its extremely long lifespan of 20,000 to 30,000 hours drastically reduces maintenance intervals.

Available in various base versions (BA15s, BA15d, BAY15d) with 12, 16, or 27 LEDs for different brightness requirements. The compact design with a 23mm diameter fits most standard light fixtures.

Base types in detail

BA15s (LED1364): Single-pole bayonet base with one contact pin. Standard base for many navigation and interior lights. 16 LEDs for medium brightness.

BA15d (LED1366): Double-pin bayonet base with two opposing contact pins. Commonly used in position lights. 16 LEDs for medium brightness.

BAY15d (LED1368, LED1369): Double-pin bayonet base with offset contact pins. Often used in navigation lights with dual-filament function. Available with 12 LEDs (lower brightness) or 27 LEDs (highest brightness).

Advantages of multivolt technology

Universally applicable: The wide voltage range of 10-30V makes this LED lamp universally applicable. Whether 12V or 24V electrical system – one lamp fits both systems.

Voltage fluctuation tolerant: The multivolt technology automatically compensates for voltage fluctuations in the vehicle's electrical system. The lamp always shines with constant brightness, regardless of the current vehicle voltage.

Simplified warehousing: You only need one type of lamp for all applications - no separate 12V and 24V lamps are needed anymore.

Important note regarding polarity

Pay attention to polarity: LED bulbs are polarity-dependent. If the bulb does not light up, rotate it 180° in the socket. If the polarity is incorrect, the bulb will not light up, but it will not be damaged.

Simple test: If the bulb doesn't light up after insertion, simply remove it, turn it 180° and reinsert it. It should now light up.

Assembly instructions

Choose the correct socket type: Before buying, check which socket type your light fixture requires (BA15s, BA15d or BAY15d).

Select brightness: Choose the number of LEDs according to your brightness requirements (12, 16 or 27 LEDs).

Easy replacement: Before changing the bulb, switch off the power supply. Remove the old bulb by twisting and pulling, insert the new LED bulb and twist it firmly into place.

Check polarity: If the lamp does not light up, turn it 180° in the socket.

Energy efficiency and environment

Multivolt LED socket lamps are the environmentally friendly and energy-efficient alternative to conventional incandescent bulbs. Using only about 10% less electricity, you not only save energy and extend battery life, but also reduce CO2 emissions. Their extremely long lifespan of 20,000 to 30,000 hours means less waste and less frequent bulb changes – good for the environment and your wallet!
