Maritime application:
The Zeising with clamp closure is used on board for quickly securing sails to the boom when reefing or stowing the sail. Thanks to the patented clamp closure, the Zeising can be easily threaded through eyelets or around the boom, inserted, and clamped in place – without complicated knots or hooks. Its adjustable length allows for flexible use in various fastening situations. The Zeising is also ideal for securing tarpaulins, sunshades, or for lashing down equipment.
⚓ Professional tip for use:
When reefing the sail, place the sailcloth around the boom and the folded sail. Thread the end through the clamp and tighten to the desired length. The patented closure holds the sailcloth securely in position and can be quickly released when needed. The adjustable length allows the sailcloth to be optimally adapted to different sail diameters. For longer storage, it is recommended to keep it in a dry place protected from UV radiation.

Regularly inspect the mooring ties for damage, abrasion, or wear, especially on the clamp and rope. UV radiation and saltwater can degrade the material over time. Replace damaged mooring ties immediately to ensure secure fastening. Make sure the clamp engages properly and the mooring tie is firmly in place. In heavily stressed applications, mooring ties should not be used as the sole safety device.
