The robust hook and loop fastening securely holds polishing pads even at high speeds. The M14 mount fits all common polishing machines with an M14 thread.
Available in two sizes and two hardness grades: 73 mm soft for compact polishing machines and detail work, 122 mm soft for curved surfaces and rounded edges, and 122 mm medium for flat surfaces and general polishing. Technical specifications: M14 thread, hook and loop fastener, diameter 73 mm or 122 mm, hardness grades soft and medium, for low to medium polishing volume, robust construction.
Areas of application:
Hardness selection: Soft polishing pads adapt to curves and curved surfaces – ideal for hull polishing and uneven surfaces. They prevent excessive material removal on edges. Medium polishing pads are versatile and suitable for flat and slightly curved surfaces – the standard for most polishing jobs.
Size selection: The 73 mm polishing pad is suitable for compact polishing machines, detail work, and hard-to-reach areas. The 122 mm polishing pad is the standard for most polishing machines and offers a good balance between area coverage and handling.
Assembly: Screw the polishing pad onto the M14 spindle of the polishing machine and tighten. Press the polishing pad (foam or microfiber) onto the hook and loop fastener. Start the polishing machine and polish. When the pad is worn, simply peel it off and attach a new one.
Maintenance: Regularly remove polish residue from the polishing pad. Clean the hook-and-loop fastener with a brush or compressed air – clogged hook-and-loop surfaces will prevent polishing pads from holding securely. Replace the pad if the hook-and-loop fastener is worn or the pad is damaged.
Intended use: These more affordable polishing pads are ideal for occasional polishing, hobby use, and low to medium polishing volumes. For professional, continuous use with high polishing volumes, we recommend higher-quality polishing pads with a reinforced construction.
The M14 polishing pads with hook and loop fastening are the economical choice for all polishing jobs with low to medium volume. The M14 mount fits all common polishing machines. Available in two sizes (73 mm and 122 mm) and two hardness levels (soft and medium) for optimal adaptation to the polishing task. The robust hook and loop fastening securely holds the polishing pads in place. Good value for money for hobby use and occasional polishing jobs.
