Using a jointing knife makes it incredibly easy to create perfect joints and trim the excess grout flush. This is especially important with older teak decks, where the grout wears down more quickly in high-traffic areas than the grout itself. Re-trimming the joints is essential. Once water collects on the raised grout, discoloration and mildew will quickly appear on the deck.
