ECHOMAX Active-X Radar Reflector – Professional radar visibility for yachts and sports boats
The ECHOMAX Active-X is a high-performance active radar reflector with an X-band amplifier, specifically designed for yachts, sailboats, and powerboats. With an impressive radar cross-sectional area of 111.36 m² SPL (Stated Performance Level) at 0°, it far exceeds the ISO standard of 7.5 m², ensuring your boat is reliably detected on other vessels' radars, even in challenging conditions. Its compact design, measuring only 478 mm in height and 40.5 mm in diameter, allows for discreet mounting on the mast or railing.
The system operates on 12V onboard power and is available in two versions: the standard version (AM701) for immediate use and the preheated version (AM901) with integrated heating function for use in cold climates. The intelligent electronics automatically adjust the power output to the number of radar units within range and consume less than 15 mA in standby mode. With a 24-meter antenna cable, precise positioning accuracy of approximately 1 meter, and a compact control box, the Active-X is the ideal solution for maximum safety at sea.
