Material advantage of stainless steel AISI 316 (A4)
AISI 316 stainless steel (also known as A4 or V4A) contains molybdenum and therefore offers significantly higher corrosion resistance than standard stainless steel. This makes the convertible top fitting particularly suitable for:

Feedered hinged nose bolt
Automatic locking mechanism: The spring-loaded folding bolt locks automatically into place, ensuring a secure connection. To release, simply pull the bolt out.
Quick operation: Ideal for convertible tops that need to be frequently installed and removed - significantly faster than screw connections.
Replacement bolt available: The hinged nose bolt (EK86220P) is available separately and can be replaced if required.
Angle versions
90° angle: Classic right-angle connection for standard convertible top constructions, ideal for sprayhoods and bimini tops.
80° angle: Slightly inclined angle for special designs and individual adjustments.
Assembly and use
The convertible top fitting is attached to the deck. The convertible top frame is inserted into the fork, and the spring-loaded folding nose bolt automatically engages. To release it, the bolt is pulled out.
- Deck mounting - attach the fitting to the deck with screws.
- Install the convertible top frame - insert the tube into the fork
- Locking - the folding nose bolt automatically engages.
- Loosen - pull out the bolt to remove
