Install the battery selector switch in an easily accessible location for convenient operation at all times. Ensure adequate ventilation around the switch. Use appropriately sized cable lugs for secure connections. Clearly label the switch positions (e.g., Battery 1, Battery 2, Both, Off). Use the switching function to distribute your batteries evenly and extend their lifespan. For extended periods of inactivity, switch to "Off" to prevent leakage currents.
When installing, ensure correct polarity and use adequately sized cables (rated for at least 230A). The switch should be installed as close as possible to the batteries. Tighten the connections securely to avoid contact resistance. Never switch the circuit breaker while the engine is running – this can damage the alternator and other electrical components. Ensure all electrical consumers are switched off before switching. The switch is not waterproof – protect it from direct water ingress. Regularly check the switch's function and condition.
You will receive a 12/24V 230A battery selector switch in red/grey - ready for installation in your vehicle electrical system.
The 230A battery selector switch combines reliability with durability - for safe battery management in every application.
