Tips for installation and operation:

• Choose a mounting location that is easily accessible but protected from direct weather.
• Use adequately sized cables (at least 16 mm² cross-section for 75A continuous load)
• Use appropriately sized cable lugs for secure and corrosion-free connections.
• Check the contacts regularly (at least every six months) for tightness and signs of corrosion.
• Switch off the battery if it will not be used for an extended period to prevent leakage currents and deep discharge.
• Always keep the cover closed when the switch is not in use.
• Keep a spare key (part no. EK30041) in a safe but accessible place.
• Clean the switch with a dry cloth if necessary – avoid harsh cleaning agents.

Important safety instructions:

• Pay strict attention to the correct polarity: connect the positive terminal of the battery to the switch, and the negative terminal directly to ground.
• Never exceed the maximum continuous load of 75A - this can lead to overheating and damage.
• This switch is designed for 1 battery - for multi-battery systems you will need a changeover switch.
• The installation should only be carried out by qualified specialists.
• Before carrying out any maintenance or repair work, completely disconnect the battery from the vehicle's electrical system.
• The switch is not designed as an emergency stop switch during operation.
• Do not use the switch to interrupt high load currents during operation (e.g. winches, bow thrusters).
• Keep the key out of the reach of children and unauthorized persons.
