BARTON MARINE's innovative ClamSeal repair system solves a decades-old problem: Ever since inflatable boats were invented, holes could only be repaired with glued-on patches – until now. The patented ClamSeal allows for immediate, glue-free repair of tears up to 90 mm in length, even underwater.
The compact safety component is simply inserted into the tear, the nut tightened by hand – that's it. The result is a temporary patch with no time limit, securing the hole until a permanent repair can be carried out. This allows an inflatable boat to be repaired at sea without outside assistance.

Application step by step:
- If necessary, enlarge the leak to at least 50 mm (maximum 90 mm length)
- Open the red nut and pull the two clamping jaws apart.
- Insert the base plate into the leak (auxiliary tether prevents loss in the air hose)
- Slightly rotate the base plate to get the threaded stud into the hole.
- Use the guideline to assemble the base plate and top part – ClamSeal must completely cover the leak.
- Screw the nut back onto the thread and tighten it by hand (do not use any tools).
- Re-inflate the air hose – done!
