The WICHARD double block with swivel shackle and dogtail is a high-quality double block with two sheaves for optimal power transmission. Available with either a plain bearing or ball bearing. With a breaking load of 2700 kg and suitable for ropes up to 14 mm in diameter, this double block is perfect for demanding sailing applications on yachts and sailboats.
The swivel shackle allows for flexible, rotating attachment and prevents twisting in the rope, while the knuckle (bottom bracket) offers additional mounting options. The two sheaves ensure good power transmission and efficient trimming. Both bearing types guarantee reliable operation under high loads.
