Material advantages of stainless steel A4 (AISI 316)
Stainless steel A4 (also known as AISI 316 or V4A) contains molybdenum and therefore offers significantly higher corrosion resistance than standard stainless steel A2. This makes the convertible top fitting particularly suitable for:

Designs and threads
Inch version (EK12A): Traditional inch thread, commonly used on older boats and classic convertible top systems.

Replacement pin (EK87106): Available separately for servicing and repairing the EK12A version.
Assembly and use
The convertible top fitting is attached to the deck using the included screw. The 80° angle ensures an optimal connection between the deck and the convertible top frame. The bolt is guided through the fork and securely connects the convertible top frame to the deck fitting.
- Deck mounting - attach fitting to the deck with screw
- Install the convertible top frame - insert the tube into the fork
- Insert bolts - Establish a secure connection
- Optionally secure - with cotter pin or retaining ring
Note: Select the appropriate version according to your convertible top frame (inch or metric) and the required fork width. The replacement pin EK87106 is available separately for maintenance and repair.
