High-quality sail rigging made of elastic rubber with stainless steel hooks for quick and secure sail attachment!
The sail lashing is a professional rubber lashing with stainless steel hooks (A2-AISI 304) for quickly and securely attaching sails to the boom or railing. Its high elasticity and corrosion resistance make it ideal for marine applications, providing reliable fastening even under varying loads.
The sail lashing is used on board for quickly securing sails to the boom when reefing or stowing. The elastic rubber cord with corrosion-resistant stainless steel hooks allows the sail to be securely fixed and quickly released when needed. The rubber lashing is also ideal for securing tarpaulins, sunshades, or lashing down equipment. The various lengths available allow for flexible use in different fastening situations.
When reefing the sail, place the lashing around the boom and the folded sail, then hook the loops together. Ensure the elastic is not overstretched – the lashing should be taut but still have some give. For longer storage, it is recommended to keep the lashing in a place protected from UV radiation to extend the elastic's lifespan.

Regularly check the rubber lashings for damage, cracks, or wear. UV radiation and salt water can degrade the rubber over time. Replace damaged lashings immediately to ensure secure fastening. Avoid excessive stretching, as this will shorten their lifespan.
