Maritime application:
The sail lashing is used on board for quickly securing sails to the boom when reefing or stowing. The elastic rubber cord with corrosion-resistant stainless steel hooks allows the sail to be securely fixed and quickly released when needed. The rubber lashing is also ideal for securing tarpaulins, sunshades, or lashing down equipment. The various lengths available allow for flexible use in different fastening situations.
⚓ Professional tip for use:
When reefing the sail, place the lashing around the boom and the folded sail, then hook the loops together. Ensure the elastic is not overstretched – the lashing should be taut but still have some give. For longer storage, it is recommended to keep the lashing in a place protected from UV radiation to extend the elastic's lifespan.
