Maritime application:
The ball-bearing lashing with plastic balls is used on board for quickly securing sails to the boom when reefing or stowing the sail. Thanks to the practical ball closure, the lashing can be opened and closed very quickly – the balls are simply threaded through eyelets or around the boom and secured with the closure. The striking orange/blue balls are highly visible even in poor lighting conditions, making handling easier. The ball-bearing lashing is also ideal for securing tarpaulins, sunshades, or for lashing down equipment.
⚓ Professional tip for use:
When reefing the sail, place the jib rings around the boom and the folded sail. Thread the balls through eyelets or around the boom and secure them with the ball closure. Opening and closing is very quick and intuitive. The various lengths allow the jib rings to be optimally adjusted to different sail diameters. The bright colors help to quickly locate the jib rings even in the dark. For longer storage, it is recommended to keep them in a dry place protected from UV radiation.

Regularly inspect the ball-type mooring ties for damage, abrasion, or wear, especially on the ball closure and the rope. UV radiation and saltwater can corrode the material over time. Replace damaged ties immediately to ensure secure fastening. Ensure that the ball closure engages properly and the ties are firmly in place. In heavily stressed applications, ties should not be used as the sole means of securing the mooring.
