High-quality cord stopper made of robust acetal for quick and secure fixing of lines and cords!
The black acetal cord stopper is a professional stopper for quickly securing and releasing lines, cords, and strings. With its robust construction and easy handling, it is ideal for marine applications and offers reliable clamping action even under varying loads.
The cord stopper is a versatile tool used on board for quickly and securely fixing lines and cords. Typical applications include attaching halyards, reefing lines, Cunninghams, or other steering lines to the mast or railing. Simply pressing the stopper secures the line and allows for quick release when needed, without the need to tie knots. The cord stopper is also ideal for securing tarpaulins, sunshades, or tensioning lines.
Thread the line through the opening of the stopper and pull it taut. Releasing the tension will cause the stopper to automatically clamp the line securely. To release, squeeze the stopper; the line can then move freely. Ensure the line is clean and not too thick for the stopper. For lines subjected to heavy loads, additional securing with a knot or cleat is recommended.

The cord stopper is designed for the specified line diameters. Do not use lines that are too thick or too thin, as this can impair the clamping effect. For lines under heavy load (e.g., halyards under tension), the stopper should not be used as the sole securing device – always use a cleat or a safety knot in addition. Regularly check the stopper for wear and damage. Dirty or sandy lines can reduce the clamping effect and damage the stopper.
