Hardness selection: Soft sanding pads adapt to curves and curved surfaces – ideal for hull sanding and uneven surfaces. They prevent excessive material removal on edges. Medium sanding pads are versatile and suitable for flat and slightly curved surfaces – the standard for most sanding jobs.

Assembly: Screw the adapter (for 150 mm versions) onto the machine spindle – M8 for metric threads, 5/16 inch for imperial threads. Attach the sanding pad and tighten. Press the sandpaper with the appropriate hole pattern (15 holes for 150 mm) onto the hook and loop fastener. Align the holes for optimal dust extraction.

Maintenance: Regularly remove sanding dust from the backing pad. Clean the hook and loop fastener with a brush or compressed air – clogged hook and loop surfaces will no longer hold the sandpaper securely. Replace when the hook and loop fastener is worn or the pad has hardened.
