RBS Solid Slats – Powder-coated epoxy slats with UV protection

RBS solid battens are high-quality sail battens made of powder-coated epoxy with a special coating for increased resistance to UV rays and environmental influences. They are available in six sizes: specifically for the J70 (90 cm), Melges 24 (120 cm), and Melges 32 (170 cm), as well as three universal sizes (120 cm, 140 cm, 180 cm). Batten width varies between 15 mm and 19 mm, and batten thickness between 5.3 mm and 10.2 mm, depending on the size and intended use.

The powder-coated epoxy construction offers maximum strength at minimal weight. The special UV coating protects against sun damage and significantly extends the lifespan. Precisely calibrated dimensions ensure optimal sail shape and performance. The battens are optimized for various boat classes: J70 (90 cm, 15 mm wide, 5.3 mm thick), Melges 24 (120 cm, 15 mm wide, 6.7 mm thick), and Melges 32 (170 cm, 15 mm wide, 7.7 mm thick). The universal 19 mm wide battens are suitable for larger sails. Ideal for racing sailors, one-design classes, and anyone who demands the highest quality and durability in sail battens.
