Maritime application:
Stainless steel staples are primarily used for making rubber bungee cords. Using a staple gun, the stainless steel staples are pressed onto the ends of the rubber cord to create custom bungee cords of the desired length. These homemade bungee cords are ideal for securing reefed sails to the boom. The staples are available for various rubber cord diameters from 4mm to 10mm, allowing for flexible applications. ⚓ Professional tip for use:
Cut the elastic cord to the desired length. Thread the crimp through the elastic cord and position it at the end. Use crimping pliers to crimp the crimp firmly onto the elastic cord. Be careful not to overtighten the crimp, as this will compromise the elasticity of the cord. The crimp should be secure but not damage the elastic cord. Choose the correct crimp size according to your elastic cord diameter (4mm, 6mm, 8mm, or 10mm).

⚠️ Important information:
Use suitable crimping pliers to crimp the crimps onto the elastic cord. Be careful not to overtighten the crimp, as this can impair the elasticity of the elastic cord. Select the correct crimp size according to your elastic cord diameter. Regularly check the crimps for tightness and damage. Although stainless steel is highly corrosion-resistant, you should rinse the crimps regularly with fresh water to remove salt deposits.
