Reliable chain lock made of high-quality A4 (AISI 316) stainless steel with spliced rope! The chain lock is an essential safety element in the anchor gear. It prevents the anchor chain from unwinding uncontrollably and secures it reliably on board. Made of saltwater-resistant A4 (AISI 316) stainless steel and equipped with a 3-meter-long, professionally spliced rope, it offers maximum safety during anchoring maneuvers.
The chain claw is hooked into a chain link during anchoring and secured to a cleat or other attachment point on board via the spliced rope. It serves as a safeguard against the uncontrolled unwinding of the anchor chain and simultaneously relieves strain on the anchor winch. If necessary, the chain claw can also serve as an emergency attachment point should the anchor winch fail. The 3-meter-long rope offers ample slack for various attachment points on board.
