Highly reflective foil approved by the German Maritime Professional Association for professional shipping, offering very high retroreflectivity. Even light rays striking the foil from the side are reflected. Seawater resistant and temperature stable down to -25°C.
The SOLAS Grade high-reflective film is a precision optical component designed for the highest safety requirements. Ideal for life rafts, inflatable boats, life jackets, and all safety-relevant markings on board.

Retrofitting tips: The surface must be dry, dust-free, oil-free, and grease-free. Inflatable boats must be covered while inflated. Flexible materials should be placed on a smooth, firm surface. The surfaces must be smooth, wrinkle-free, and without tension. Peel off the backing paper, apply the film smoothly and without tension, ensuring no air bubbles form. Then press firmly. Secure adhesion is achieved after 24 hours. Do not apply below 10°C (50°F). Adhesion to plastic does not always produce the best results; if in doubt, use special adhesives.
Care and cleaning: Clean with a sponge or soft cloth using cold or warm water and, if necessary, a mild soap. Rinse with clean water. Grease, oil, and tar can be removed with a soft cloth and mild solvents, such as alcohol. Afterward, the surface of the reflective materials should be washed by hand and rinsed thoroughly with clean water. Machine washing, dry cleaning, and aggressive solvents will damage the film.
