Port and starboard lights - function and regulations
What are sidelights? Port and starboard lights are colored navigation lights mounted on the sides of a boat. The port light (left) shines red, the starboard light (right) shines green. They allow other boaters to determine the direction you are traveling.
Combined light: The 3562 series port/starboard combines both functions in a single housing. This saves space and simplifies installation, as only one light needs to be mounted.
