Application areas

  • Extra stable pipe connections for convertible top frames
  • Sprayhood joints designed for highest loads
  • Bimini top pipe joints for professional applications
  • Convertible top connections with maximum safety
  • Sunshade frame for heavy-duty use
  • All applications with reinforced pipe joints

Material advantage of stainless steel AISI 316 (A4)

AISI 316 stainless steel (also known as A4 or V4A) contains molybdenum and therefore offers significantly higher corrosion resistance than standard stainless steel. This makes the reinforced pipe joint particularly suitable for:

  • Continuous saltwater contact
  • Aggressive marine environments
  • Long-term outdoor applications without maintenance
  • Professional boat and yacht equipment
  • Areas with the highest mechanical stress

Reinforced design - 2 grub screws for maximum safety

Double fastening: Unlike standard joints with only one setscrew, this reinforced version features two setscrews. This ensures maximum security and prevents the joint from twisting or loosening.

Maximum load capacity: The double fastening makes this joint ideal for applications with the highest loads from wind, sea conditions or mechanical stress.

Professional quality: Ideal for large convertible tops, heavy constructions or applications with the highest safety requirements.

With fork - Flexible connection

Joint connection: The pipe joint piece has a fork that allows a flexible, movable connection via a bolt.

Mobility: Ideal for applications where pipes need to be flexibly connected to each other, such as in folding roofs or adjustable constructions.

2 grub screws: The joint piece is fixed to the pipe with two grub screws, which ensures an extra secure and permanent connection.

Technical details

Thread: Metric - For both versions.

Fork width: 7.5 mm - For secure mounting.

Bolt diameter: 6 mm - Standard diameter for a stable connection.

2 grub screws: Double fixing to the pipe for maximum safety.

Assembly and use

The reinforced pipe joint is slid onto the pipe end and securely fastened with the two set screws. The double fastening prevents the joint from twisting or loosening. The fork allows for a movable connection to other pipes or fittings via a bolt.

  • Slide the joint piece onto the end of the pipe.
  • Align - Place in the desired position
  • Secure - Tighten securely with both grub screws.
  • Connect - guide bolts through the fork

Advantages

  • Highly corrosion-resistant - AISI 316 stainless steel for maximum service life
  • Reinforced design - Designed for the highest loads
  • Double fastening - 2 grub screws for maximum safety
  • With fork - Flexible joint connection
  • Two pipe diameters - For 22mm and 25mm pipes
  • Professional quality - proven in maritime use
