For a clear installation, use the top rail for positive leads and the bottom rail for negative leads (or vice versa). Label the rails clearly. Ensure the main supply lines to the 6 mm terminals are adequately sized. Use ferrules or ring terminals for secure connections at the 4 mm terminals. Tighten all screws securely to ensure low contact resistance. Use spring washers or self-locking nuts to prevent vibration. Plan the wiring carefully and group related devices together.
Ensure that the maximum current rating of 200A per busbar is not exceeded. Use adequately sized cables for the main supply lines to the 6mm terminals. Tighten all screws securely to ensure low contact resistance and reliable connections. Use only appropriately sized cable lugs or ferrules (4mm for loads, 6mm for main lines). Regularly check that all screw connections are tight, especially after the first few hours of operation. Ensure correct polarity and avoid short circuits between the two busbars. Install the busbar in a dry, well-ventilated location.
