Install the battery switch in an easily accessible location on the control panel. Ensure the waterproof cap is closed after each use to protect against splashing. Always switch the main switch to the "Off" position when the boat is not in use for extended periods. Use cables rated for 100A. Combine with busbars and fuse holders for a professional, integrated system.
When installing, ensure correct polarity and use adequately sized cables (rated for at least 100A). The switch should be installed as close to the battery as possible. Tighten the connections securely to avoid contact resistance. Never switch off the main switch while the engine is running – this can damage the alternator. Ensure the waterproof cap is properly closed. Regularly check the switch's function and condition.
