The 3M Oil Sorbent absorbent pad is an innovative, water-repellent, and buoyant nonwoven fabric specifically designed to absorb oils and fuels. With its impressive absorbency, it can soak up 25 times its own weight in oil or fuel in just seconds.
What makes it special: OIL SORBENT is reusable and can simply be wrung out and reused after use. With a size of 50 x 50 cm and an oil absorption capacity of 1 liter per hour, it is the ideal product for a wide range of applications on board.

Applications: 3M Oil Sorbent is ideal for securing fuel filler necks to prevent deck contamination, cleaning decks and hulls without special additives, cleaning engines and generators, securing the bilge before oil can enter the water, skimming oil from bilge water, emergency cleanup of oil spills, and as a protective mat during maintenance work. Its buoyancy also allows for the absorption of oil directly from the water's surface.
